AMAZING experience! Probably the best rental house I have ever stayed in. We were extremely close to the main Corso Umberto and San Domenico Palace hotel. Lots of great restaurants and shops around. We rented both apartments which was perfect for our group of 7. Both were on the same floor and had the same amenities which was great. Best part was definitely the rooftop terrace. Full 360 degree views of Taormina…from the beach to Mt Etna to Castelmola to the Greek Theater. We spent many nights up there just enjoying the view! Worth every penny! Ann was our caretaker and she was able to accommodate an early check in for us as well as give us great tips for local produce and shops. She was also so great at communicating through whats app for any questions about the apartment or local recommendations. 15/10 experience!! We will be back!

I hate to write this review because I don't want to give away our favorite apartment! The apartment is in a great location near the Cathedral, with amazing views. We can't wait to go back!

The property is in a great location. As with any hillside location, there are a lot of steps. The apartment was well laid out and there is a/c in the bedrooms. There were 4 of us, so having two bathrooms was great. There is a laundry room with washer as well. The views were wonderful. The huge deck is up a flight of stairs, but we really enjoyed it as much as possible. We walked everywhere and there were wonderful restaurants close by. It was a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it!

Third time in Taormina and first at San Domenico. Arrived very late to get keys but Mrs England met us happily. Six adults (3 couples) in 3 bedrooms. Not only comfortable but the sunrise in each room was fantastic. Every morning I would wake up before sunrise, up the stairs to terrace and be awed by the great 360 degree views of the castle, duomos, Greek theater, Mt. Etna, and the sun coming up on the sea. So close to west end of Corso Umberto so we had easy access to our car, the supermercado, and steps straight up to cafe for crema croissants, espresso, and fresh squeezed orange juice. We stayed during Christmas holidays so we enjoyed again the Christmas Eve tradition of the “Lighting of the logs” in the square all within steps of us. Living room and kitchen also have spectacular views so open up all the doors and windows when you can. Whether we bought breakfast or dinner, we made the terrace upstairs our special place to eat. Many restaurants are still open on Christmas Eve and we decided to make our own Italian dinner on Christmas Day. Third time is the charm as they say and yes we will be back again someday and will definitely stay here. Thanks for a great holiday and “ciaio”!

This is a well furnished, spacious, and well-located apartment with an enormous rooftop patio with fabulous views. Only a few steps from the Duomo, it is close to the main street, Corso Umberto. I can't imagine there being a better place to be, and the Manager, Ann, is a pleasure to deal with. No negatives whatsoever!! If you need three bedrooms, 2 baths, this is the place to stay!

Wow! We just loved this apartment in Taormina! First, it is beautiful. Casa San Domenico has high ceilings, so much natural light, very nice furniture, wonderful art, and the most breathtaking views from each window. The rooftop terrace is amazing with views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Ancient Greek Theater, and Mt. Etna! 360 degree views!! The location is prime as well as other reviewers have stated. You are steps away from everything. We stayed one week here. The only issue we had was blowing a circuit when we tried to use the washing machine and run the AC units at the same time. But that was easy to remedy and get around. We spent time hiking the north side of Mt. Etna, went on a boat excursion, visited Siracusa and Ortigia, hiked down from Castelmora, and lounged at a lido. So many wonderful restaurants and the shopping was great! We miss Taormina and this beautiful apartment!!
