Guests reviews

Je recommande cette maison les yeux fermés . Avec mes amis nous avons pus profité d’une maison magnifique avec une vue parfaite, une terrasse exceptionnelle !

“Volcano Island was an unbelievable experience. We went for a wedding and were in awe of the natural beauty of the environment particularly the majestic volcanos framing the scenery. The island itself was incredible enough but what made the visit even more special was the wonderful villa and the kindness and generosity of Tonia, Cettina and Cettina's husband. We were picked up from the ferry and dropped back to the port when we left and were also offered lifts around town regularly over the five days. The hosts made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and often surprised us with little extras such as freshly picked plums and figs in the morning. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable and felt very cool which was a welcome retreat from the summer sun. There are indoor showers but I recommend visitors try the outdoor shower, a refreshing treat on intensely hot days. Finally... the sunsets...oh the sunsets over Filicudi... I've seen many sunsets around the world but the ones viewed from the villa rival the best! Overall our visit was nigh on perfect and we would love to come back and stay again.

We had a wonderful week on Vulcano. The villa is very nice, especially the huge terrace and the outdoor-kitchen. Check-in and Check- out worked out very well and Cettina, a lovely lady, made us feel very welcome when we arrived. She also showed us some nice and secret Spots nearby, gave us once a ride to the supermarket to buy water for almost the whole week and organized a boattrip. Although the villa is quite close to the Harbour, two very nice beaches and all the shops and Restaurants if you just consider the distance, it takes quite a while to walk this distance because it is very steep. Especially if you carry things home from the supermarket, the way back feels endless. Therefore a car or scooter at least for a few days is helpful. We recommend this accomodation a lot.
